This pivotal role is a fast-paced position requiring excellent task management and abilities to ensure the highest standards of aftersales service support to our customers. Focused on customer care and satisfaction, you will need to be able to understand client needs and respond to them pro-actively, positively and in a timely manner and utilising the latest technology. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills; Enthusiasm and determination even under pressure, excellent customer services skills and experience; IT and business system literate and a willingness to embrace the latest technology as well as ability to be able to work as part of a team and under own initiative. Technical know-how would be advantageous but not essential, and an agricultural background would also be would a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will work directly with the Service Manager and another Service Advisor to enable the delivery of 1st class service support to both external and internal customers. Excellent planning and communication skills is a prerequisite for this position. To manage labour availability and utilisation for the engineering work force so that customers are attended to in good time and in line with any SLA that may be in place. Ensuring that timescales are adhered to on all jobs to maintain profitability from either retail sales or, internal policy jobs. This is a full-time office-based role working in a modern office setting, with Saturday mornings on a rotation basis. Responsibilities: - Deliver best in class service support - Excellent communication with internal and external customers - Booking in proactively, PPM's and breakdowns - Chasing engineer reports and ensuring concise detail is present - Preparing engineer reports to be able to invoice in a timely manner - Liaising with OEM's for technical support to Field Service engineers | B&B Machinery is part of the B&B Group and B&B Tractors. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work out of our premises at Swineshead near Boston in Lincolnshire. You will be part of an aftersales team that is responsible for delivering premium support of to all our customers. The aftersales teams challenge will be to deliver the best customer care and enable B&B Machinery to grow and become Lincolnshire's leading forklift supplier. The service technician role will be to maintain, diagnose and repair the full range of Manitou equipment we supply. This role will be based from Swineshead but will require mobile support to customers at their locations covering Lincolnshire from Louth to Peterborough. To be considered you must have: - Engineering experience in Agricultural, Plant, FLT or MHE machinery repair. - A background in Manitou or an equivalent Forklift, Construction or Access equipment. - A strong understanding of Engines, Hydraulic and Electronic principles. - Knowledge and experience using laptop based Diagnostic Equipment. - A full clean UK Driving licence. - Excellent customer service skills. - A can-do attitude that wants to progress and grow with a business.
