Whilst experience with agricultural machinery would be ideal, this position would suit any skilled diagnostic technician who has a mechanical background of any kind, as full manufacturer training will be given. The ideal candidate will have: - NVQ level 2/3 in plant equipment or HGV. Product training will be available for the right candidate. - Have previous experience of troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs. - Experience of hydraulic systems and electronics, being capable of diagnosing faults and performing repairs to a high standard. - Hold a current CSCS card and be compliant with internal and external health & safety policies, quality assurance and environmental legislation, working safely at all times. - Capable of working alone but also part of a bigger team. - You must hold a current driving licence and be prepared to work on customers sites, completing paperwork to aide efficient administration and invoicing. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work out of our premises at Swineshead near Boston in Lincolnshire. You will be part of an aftersales team that is responsible for delivering premium support of to all our customers. The aftersales teams challenge will be to deliver the best customer care and enable B&B Machinery to grow and become Lincolnshire's leading forklift supplier. The service technician role will be to maintain, diagnose and repair the full range of Manitou equipment we supply. This role will be based from Swineshead but will require mobile support to customers at their locations covering Lincolnshire from Louth to Peterborough. To be considered you must have: - Engineering experience in Agricultural, Plant, FLT or MHE machinery repair. - A background in Manitou or an equivalent Forklift, Construction or Access equipment. - A strong understanding of Engines, Hydraulic and Electronic principles. - Knowledge and experience using laptop based Diagnostic Equipment. - A full clean UK Driving licence. - Excellent customer service skills. - A can-do attitude that wants to progress and grow with a business.
